The basic problems with owning a deep fryer are:
- Disposing of the oil is problematic
- There is danger associated with a large volume of very hot oil
- It's wasteful to cook a small amount in a large fryer, given how much time and energy are needed to get to temperature
- Oil gets everywhere and also has a strong odour
Enter: Mini Deep Fryers
In case you like the idea — they're dirt cheap at $70.
This thing can do a small (side) serving of fries, a dim sim, or two chicken tenders. It's exactly enough to handle the "deep fried" craving that causes so many dinners to end up being done on UberEats.
Very little mess, very little fuss. Cheap to buy, cheap to run. Disposal of excess oil can trivially be done with a funnel and plastic bottle.
My only concern is that it's not as bottom heavy as I like, so it could possibly be knocked over. But the volume is small enough that it likely wouldn't be a disaster.
This is flat out the way to go when it comes to deep frying. A+.
This shit is literal crack on nuggets.
