I wrote On Remaining Sane in Insane Systems, which is a retelling of my experiences in the Victorian psychiatric system as well as a commentary on mental health in general. I was running slightly hot when I wrote it, which made it engaging and fun to read (and write), but does treat some large topics more lightly and with more confidence than it should have.

One nice trait of the structure is that (for the most part) you can start anywhere; most of the essays are independent of one another. It's fun, like eating potato chips.
